Hand & Nail Empties: July-December 2017

Hand-and-Nail-Empties-July-December-2017

I hope you all are surviving post-holiday winter! It has gotten a bit wetter here so my hands are finally not cracking open every time I bend a knuckle. I’m not going to lie, I accidentally got blood on many things during December because this kept happening without my noticing. I don’t think any of these things were important. If they were, someone is in for a shock!

Since you all seemed to like my first empties post, I’ve decided to make it a thing! Today’s second installment covers things I used up during the second half of 2017. Weirdly, there are no top or base coats in here. I have a couple that are on the brink of being dead, but as a cheapskate I have to use them until it is truly impossible to get any more out. Okay, I know what you’re thinking based on the title: “Ashley, it isn’t September anymore! It’s barely even October!!!” Both of these things are true, but I want to share the September G.N.O.M.E. polishes with you anyway for a few reasons: a) to put this box on your radar, b) to put these brands on your radar, and c) because sometimes these polishes are available individually after the boxes go out. You might have an opportunity to get your hands on them, but at this point you’ve missed the September box. I do want to be honest and upfront about that.

You might also be thinking “What in the heck is a G.N.O.M.E. box?” I will be happy to enlighten you: G.N.O.M.E. stands for Glitter Nerds Of Magical Existence. It is a collaboration between Rica and Stardust Beauty and occasionally a guest brand to bring you some special, limited edition polishes each month. I first heard of it through following Cosmetic Sanctuary and decided to send in my first order in September for three reasons (today is a turn-everything-into-a-list day for me, I guess): a) that month featured a green, blue, and purple, which are my favorite polish shades, b) I had some money leftover from an Etsy gift card, and c) I have been dying to try all three of these brands and at the reasonable price of $24 I could not say no. My bank account can’t even be mad at me. Had my bank account taken one for the team, however, it would not have been mad at me for long because these three are just stunning. See for yourself below!
